OLGT 2023-32: Cross Program: Rollback on Removal of PII from Certain Pages

In 2022, the Department updated BEACON so that most pages and views would no longer display Social Security Numbers (SSNs) and other personal identifying information (PII). These changes were detailed in Online Guide Transmittals 2022-62 and 2022-80.

Since then, TAO staff indicated that the removal of PII from certain BEACON pages has caused confusion and decreased efficiency. Therefore, effective April 7, 2023, the following BEACON changes will take effect:

• Addition of an SSN field to the Other Income Status and Earned Income pages.

• A new SSN field to the Interview Wrapup page for only the grantee.

• Inclusion of an SSN column to the Interview Wrap EBC Results page.

• DOB field added for each household member in the INS Designation and Personal Relationships pages.
