OLGT 2023-56: Cross Programs: Address Change Cover Letter

New BEACON functionality to generate an Address Change Cover Letter has been developed. When a client’s mailing address is updated in BEACON (via DTA Connect, IVR, or manually updated by staff) and subsequently requests a document be resent to them, an Address Change Cover Letter will automatically generate with the requested document. The centrally re-printed document will be sent to the updated address and not the address previously on file when the document was originally generated. This systems change is scheduled to take effect on August 4, 2023.

This new functionality will also apply to an updated mailing address for an assisting person listed in the “Helper” tab on the Accommodation/Special Assistance Screening page in BEACON.

This new feature does not apply to third-party documents as they are not sent to clients.
