OLGT 2023-53: TAFDC: Elimination of the Cash Advance deduction for Child Support Income

Effective immediately, child support income received from the date of TAFDC application until the date TAFDC benefits are authorized will not be deducted from the first grant payment by way of a Cash Advance deduction.

Child support income received in the four weeks prior to TAFDC application will continue to be counted and used in the determination of financial eligibility.
