OLGT 2023-49: SNAP: Summer 2023 P-EBT Benefits

The Department received approval to continue to provide P-EBT for families through summer 2023. This is the last issuance of summer P-EBT benefits as the federal public health emergency ended on May 11, 2023.

To be eligible for Summer P-EBT benefits, children must be eligible to receive free or reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program. Summer P-EBT benefits will be issued to DTA households and Non-DTA households.

The Summer P-EBT benefit is $120 per child. The full payment of $120 is slated to be issued on July 25, 2023. Children that become eligible after the July 25 issuance will be processed as a late file and will be issued their Summer P-EBT benefits of $120 in September.
