Field Ops Memo 2006-02: 2006 Social Security/SSI COLA Update for TAFDC, EA, EAEDC and the Food Stamp Program

Effective January 2006, Social Security benefits and SSI payments increased by 4.1 percent. The base level Medicare Part B premium increased from $78.20 to $88.50. The Medicare Part B penalty premium also increased, as identified in the 2006 Medicare Part B Surcharge Premiums chart (page 5 of this memo).
