Child Welfare Area Profiles

These are reports that DCF currently publishes on a quarterly basis to provide basic information about its caseload. The reports include, among other things, number of children in the caseload, number of children in out-of-home placements, and number of children in each type of out-of-home placement.

These reports have had different titles at different times: Currently they are called "Area Profiles", previously they were called "Quarterly Data Profiles" and before that they were published annually and called "Annual Data Profiles"

DCF currently has published and made on available on its website the reports for FY 2011 - FY 2017 (available here). Previous reports from 2002 - 2010 which are not published on DCF's website are also included below.
