If the decision is positive at this or any subsequent stage of appeal, follow through to make sure that the claimant gets the UI benefits to which the claimant is entitled. A claimant who wins at the hearing, she has the right to collect UI benefits, including retroactive benefits, pending the employer’s appeal.
