Federal Agency Language Access Guidance

Executive Order 13166 required each federal agency that provides financial assistance to develop an LEP guidance for its recipients on the obligation to provide meaningful access to limited English proficient (LEP) individuals. EO 13166 also requires each federal agency to create a federally conducted LEP plan.

The www.lep.gov website includes guidance documents, federally conducted LEP plan and enforcement and compliance activities for federal agencies such as the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Department of Education (DOE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Labor (DOL), Social Security Administration (SSA), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), etc.
