Educational Rewards Grant Program
Date:
The Educational Rewards Grant Program was established in 2006 to encourage and aid low-income students, particularly part-time students, seeking education leading to jobs in high-demand occupations. The program grants between $200 and $3,000 to students who are dislocated workers or who are at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level. The Educational Rewards Grant Program is unique in allowing students to use a portion of their grants to cover living expenses such as transportation and childcare and is ideal for working and/or parenting students.
