PPER Email 2014-11: Photo EBT Exceptions

Effective March 24, 2014 BEACON enhancements will be implemented to expand Photo EBT exceptions to certain cardholders. In addition to the cardholders identified in Operations Memo 2014-17 and Operations Memo 2014-18, non-applicant heads of household will not be subject to the Photo EBT requirement.
These non-applicant heads of household may not Opt-In to have a Photo EBT card. If you have any questions regarding this change, please call the Policy Hotline. Further instructions regarding Photo EBT will be issued in the near future.
