Sign on to SNAP Coalition list of recommendations to DTA to improve access
Thank you very much to the groups who joined a call earlier this week to discuss and brainstorm recommendations to DTA. Based on that conversation and issues partners have raised in the past, MLRI compiled recommendations into one document to share with DTA. The letter includes recommendations on changes we believe would reduce some of the current access challenges. We did not include broader policy change recommendations that would simplify eligibility or maximize SNAP - we focused on addressing discrete and pressing issues we see with access to DTA.
We think it would be valuable for DTA to have a sense of the breadth of organizations who contributed to and support these recommendations. So, please sign your organization by using this form by the end of the day on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
That way, we can get the recommendations to DTA in advance of our Coalition meeting on October 22, so we can have a productive and helpful conversation on October 22.
