Representing Clients Under the Harassment Order Statute, G.L. c. 258E

A harrassment order statute, M.G.L. c. 258E, was enacted in Massachusetts in 2010.  Under this new law, victims of sexual assault and stalking can obtain protective orders even if they do not satisfy the relationship requirements of M.G.L. c. 209A.
