PPER Email 2014-26: 24 Month Clock Fixes
MIS has completed a number of fixes to the State 24-Month Clock batch job. The jobs were fixed to set the clocks correctly prospectively; a recalculation of the clocks retroactively is also taking place. This is going to happen over the weekend of 8/30/14.
The result is that some clients will have months added and some clients will have months subtracted to their 24-month clock.
At the same time as the fixes were made to the State 24-Month Clock batch job, MIS fixed a problem with the “3,6,9...” notices (some of which were being sent out on incorrect months).
As a result of the clock recalculations, clients will be receiving new notices with the corrected clock counts when they reach one of the “landmark” months (that is month 3, month 6, month 9...).
Due to this clock adjustment, there will be a number of cases that will now require extension requests. Case managers will need to check the Actuate report as a result of the recalculations. Additionally, a report listing all clients whose clocks were adjusted will be sent by email by 9/3/2014.
