OLGT 2021-57: Cross Programs: Consolidated Rights and Responsibilities
As part of the continuing effort to align SNAP and Economic Assistance policy, the Department will use one Rights and Responsibilities (R&R) language for all programs.
The consolidated R&R language will appear on application, IR, recertification, and reevaluation forms. Although the language will be identical across programs, individual program requirements are covered in the R&R, where necessary.
These changes will be reflected on forms generated through BEACON beginning July 9, 2021. Paper applications available online and through document production have also been updated. Staff can read a copy of the consolidated R&R language in the new Rights and Responsibilities page in the Online Guide Notices/Forms book.
Note: The temporary COVID-19 recertification form and Bay State CAP recertification forms are not included in these updates.
