OLGT 2021-36: Cross Program: DTA Finder

In 2017, the Department and USDA officially implemented the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) to increase the availability of healthier food options and to encourage SNAP clients to purchase fruits and vegetables from local farmers. Clients who are enrolled in HIP earn special credits for immediate or future purchases when they shop at eligible HIP retailers. For more information, see HIP Operations.

To encourage HIP participation, the Department has created DTA Finder, a web-based interactive map that informs users of their nearest HIP vendors. DTA Finder includes features such as device geolocation, search filtering, individual vendor profiles, exporting to Excel, and more.
