OLGT 2020-21: SNAP: ABAWD Clock Page

To make it easier for case managers to track compliance with the ABAWD Work Rules (WR), BEACON now includes the ABAWD Clock page.  This page replaces the ABAWD Clock History page. 

The ABAWD Clock page simplifies the process of researching a client’s WR compliance history and provides more detailed information for accurately determining his/her SNAP eligibility based on the WR.  Additionally, the ABAWD Clock page facilitates the process of adding, removing, and/or reordering strikes.  The specific updates associated with the ABAWD Clock page include: 

• more accurate descriptions of strike levels (including Exception Months and Ineligibility Strikes); 
• the automatic reordering of strike levels when the removal or addition of a strike calls for it; 
• more descriptive removal reasons that can be selected, when appropriate; 
• the ability for case managers to remove Exception Months under certain circumstances; 
• replacing all references to “sanction” with “strike”; and 
• the discontinuation of using the Sanctions page to update strikes or research a client’s strike history.
