OLGT 2019-91: SNAP: Change in Student Eligibility Criteria

In the past, clients could satisfy the SNAP student eligibility criteria if they were placed in an institution of higher learning through a program under the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA).  However, JPTA has been repealed by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). 
 
Students are eligible for SNAP if they are assigned or placed in an institution of higher learning through another program under the WIOA.
