OLGT 2019-68: TAFDC – Good Cause for Disability Exemptions

Clients may request good cause when they are unable to meet certain Department requirements. TAFDC clients who are claiming a disability and have already used their presumptive eligibility period can be granted good cause using the TAFDC Good Cause Medical Statement (TAFDC-GCMS) until a final disability determination is made by Disability Evaluation Services (DES).
