In the Matter of KA, FH# 2017-0087
Date:
Affirmed - DCF had reasonable cause to believe that the child had been neglected where a staff member at a DCF Care and Protection program failed to properly supervise a 17-year old resident and he sexually abused his roommate. The appellant failed to properly monitor the residents and perform room checks every 15 minutes. Appellant’s assertion that he was not in charge of supervising the children at the time of the incident was found to not be credible due to the testimony of co-worker and Appellant’s own conflicting testimony.
