Field Op 2004-36: RAFT- Residential Assistance for Families in Transition

The Massachusetts Legislature approved and the Governor signed legislation that created the Residential Assistance for Families in Transition Program (RAFT). This is a one year pilot program for FY05. The appropriation is $2,000,000. The program is administered by the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) through contracts with the regional nonprofit housing agencies that operate the Housing Consumer Education Centers.
