DOJ and Interagency Working Group on Limited English Proficiency (IWG) worked together to design a video titled, Overcoming Language Barriers: Creating Language Access Policies, Plans, and Procedures. The video is designed as a training tool to help federally-funded and federally conducted programs comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI) and Executive Order 13166 (EO 13166). The video closely follows the Language Access Assessment and Planning Tool for Federally Conducted and Federally Assisted Programs, developed by the Civil Rights Division in May 2011.
