Summer EBT updates - NEW DTA form for families who need case number & multilingual PINing fliers

An important update to last week's emails on Summer EBT! DTA now has a form families can fill out if they need their case number to PIN their Summer EBT card and can't get through the Summer EBT hotline. The form is also linked on Mass.gov/SummerEBTPlease urge families who need their case number and can't get through the Summer EBT hotline to use this form!

Please continue to refer to this MLRI slide deck for up to date information on Summer EBT.  Continue encouraging families who got Summer EBT cards to apply for SNAP to connect to year round food benefits!

Children's HealthWatch: Focus group on Common Application, seeking to connect with families!

Children's HealthWatch is doing a study on what's important in a Common Application (for accessing public benefits including SNAP, cash, childcare, healthcare, housing). They are conducting focus groups with parents to understand how the application process for public benefits impacts families, and what families think the state should do to improve the process of connecting to benefits.

The focus group will take about 1 hour, may be in person or online, and is voluntary and confidential. In thanks for participation, Children's HealthWatch will send families a $30 electronic gift card after completion of the focus group. Please spread the word with families who have experience navigating SNAP, MassHealth, WIC, child care subsidies, and other public benefits! See flier with more information for families in English and in Spanish. Contact chwresearch@bmc.org with questions.
