The claimant was denied unemployment benefits on the grounds that he was restricting his availability and work search to part-time work for personal reasons. The Board reversed the denial because the claimant was held to be a caregiver of a family member, his son, with a disability, who is therefore unable to work full-time. The claimant’s work history shows that he has not restricted himself to such an extent that he has removed himself from the labor force. The Board, therefore, concluded that the claimant has satisfied the requirements for allowing him to limit his availability to part-time employment.
