Reach out to House Representatives this week to cosponsor key amendments!

This week is a critical time in the House budget process. As discussed at Coalition on Tuesday, last week the Massachusetts House Ways and Means Committee released their FY26 budget proposal.

Amendments were filed last week. This week, House Representatives cosponsor amendments they support - and next week, the House will finalize their budget proposal. Here’s a priority list of amendments including SNAP replacement, HIP, grant increase, hunger free campus and more. 

Support on key amendments can make a huge difference in the final House budget! Please urge House Representatives THIS WEEK (ideally by Friday, April 25) to cosponsor the key amendments.
