Zoom link here. Our agenda will include:

1. FY 24 Budget Update

Last week the House Ways & Means Committee released its budget.

This is MLRI's Preliminary Analysis of the HWM Budget

The eblast below was shipped out to the DTA Advisory Board members on Friday at 3 PM (but we know 99% of you were likely taking a long weekend and/or off to the beach!). The DTA email below highlights the state-funded SNAP benefits as one of Governor Healey's first 100 Days in office. This is in addition to funding to extend universal school meals, funds to replace skimmed (thefted) SNAP benefits.

SNAP application interviews now required again for all applicants

As of last Friday, April 7, all SNAP applicants must have an interview with DTA for their application to continue. An interview is a conversation with a DTA case manager to talk through the SNAP application, share the program rules, clear up missing or confusing information, and more.
